For me this may be a shocker but I had a blast with Crash: Twin Insanity on the PS2, yes it wasn't like the previous ones but it was really fun, guess after that the first 3 on PSX were gems, Wrath of Cortex and Crash of the Titans were awesome too, can't wait for the new games this fall...huge fan of the series  .

Haven't got Twinsanity (shame they cancelled it for Game Cube or I'd have it). I grew up w/ Warped and Cortex Strikes Back, but also loved Wrath of Cortex. Haven't got Titans or the GBA games so either three of those - Wrath of/Strikes Back/Warped are good - I don't have a favorite though.

I like warped the most only because it was my first PS1 game, so I ended up playing it to death

Yeah, being as my first console video game, first platformer and first PS1 game was Spyro - the Spyro games beat out Crash for me. However, the two were quite connected in that the companies (Insomniac and Naughty Dog) were and are good friends and demoed each other's games on each other's disc releases. That's how I first played Crash - in demos on my Spyro disc.

| I've only played 3 Crash games and I'm guessing 2 of those are not included among the top tier. I played "Crash Bandicoot Warped", then "The Huge Adventure" on GBA (okay but not a very inspired release) and then "Crash of the Titans" on DS, which I also felt was rather uninspired. Are the console versions of "Titans" better?

| I tried a 360 demo of Titans, and really I could not see myself spending more than $15 on it, which I am sure I will sonn be able to buy it at that price soon used in Gamestop.

Like Spyro, Crash has been reinvented...for what would seem the worse.

| I think Crash 2 and 3 are my favorites, with Titans close behind. I don't see why everyone has such a beef with Titans... I thought it was a fine game.

You know, IMO, Wrath of Cortex was more like the originals than the stuff they put out now. The fact everyone hates on the new Crashes for being removed from the olden day games would make one think WoC would be better liked for being more classic.

I recently found Crash of the Titans still new, sealed, and shrink wrapped for $4.99 so I picked it up. Haven't tried it yet, though.
